Lake Meredith National Recreational Area is a US National Park managed by the National Park Service (NPS) in the Texas Panhandle approximately 30 miles north of Amarillo, Texas. https://www.nps.gov/lamr/index.html There are no fees to enter the National Park. Campgrounds with electric and water hook-ups rental cost are very low. There are no boat lake fees or fees for the number of individuals in the boat. So bring your boat with you to enjoy the lake! Reservation Policies
Preparation and loading vessel with all your supplies (Items you brought with you to take).
Boat operator will need to check in to the store 30 minutes before the departure time to complete paperwork, orientation and departing from the dock. When you arrive, please check in at the store. After completing the paperwork, we will go to the boat for your onboard orientation. Orientation will include safety and the operation of your boat.
Weather Policy:
In the event we must cancel due to weather, we will refund all fees paid for that day. All weather cancellations will be at our discretion.
Cancellation Policy:
To be eligible for a full refund, cancellations must be made within 48 hours of departure.
Damage Deposit:
We require a $500 refundable deposit that is returned when the watercraft is brought back clean and undamaged.
Excessive Cleaning Fee:
Regular cleaning is included in the rental. A $50 to $100 fee will be charged for excessive cleaning. Example: mud, sand, etc.
Minimum Age: You must be 18 years old to operate watercraft and have a valid driver’s license. Texas requires proof of Boaters Safety Course approve by Texas Parks and Wildlife for anyone operating a watercraft born after September 1, 1993. Several online courses are available on the web. This certificate must be present before proceeding with the rental.
#8 Sanford-Yake RV Campsite Policies
CHECK-IN: Campground RV Guest reserving Sanford-Yake RV Campsites with Electric and Water Hook-Ups are to CHECK-IN at Wright-On Bait Tackle & Watercraft Rental shop to Sign Paperwork and Receive a Sanford-Yake Campground Park - Parking Pass. Along with Lake Meredith National Recreational Area information.
ARRIVAL TIME: Arrival time for RV Campsite is NO earlier than 3pm of the Reserved Arrival Date.
DEPARTURE TIME: Guest MUST Vacate RV Campsite prior to 2pm on their scheduled Departure Date.
LATE ARRIVALS: If arriving late please call us 806-865-3131 so our Staff may ensure a RESERVED sign is placed on your RV Rental Campsite for your late arrival. Upon your arrival the next morning please Check-In at the Wright-On Bait Tackle & Watercraft Rental shop to Sign Paperwork and receive RV Guest Campground Parking Pass.
CANCELLATION POLICY: 48 hour notice MUST be provided to Wright-On Bait Tackle & Watercraft Rental to Cancel and/or Reschedule a RV Campsite reservation. Customers may only cancel a RV Campsite Rental Reservation once per year for a full refund.
NO SHOW POLICY: Failure to show-up for RV Campsite Rental Reservation at time/day of RV Campsite Rental Reservation the Renter shall be charged for the Full Rental Reservation time and forfeits any refund by Wright-On Bait Tackle & Watercraft Rental.
CLEAN/DAMAGE POLICY: RV Campsite Guest agrees to keep their RV Campsite neat and orderly at all times. Guest agrees to not cause any damage and/or repairs to any RV Campsite. RV Guest is responsible for any clean-up and/or damage caused by any of the RV Guests Visitors. If Guest RV Campsite is not left clean and/or anything damaged, Guest authorizes Wright-On to clean and/or repair damage to the RV Campsite at a fee to be paid by RV Guest in accordance to Damage/Cleaning Deposit.
EXTENDING STAYS: Wright-On is happy to extend our RV Campsite Guests stay just Call us 806-865-3131. A Wright-On Staff member will check availability of the current Guest's RV Campsite. If the Guest's current RV Campsite is available we'll extend the Guest stay in their current RV Guest Campsite, but if it isn't available but another RV Campsite is available the Guest will be able to stay but will be required to move to the available RV Campsite. A new Sanford-Yake Campground Parking Pass will be provided.
Wright-On Enterprises, L.L.C. and Sanford-Yake RV Campground Park
DAILY RENTAL AGREEMENT AND INDEMNIFICATION: This agreement, made on day of booking of to be completed upon arrival, between Wright-On Enterprises, L.L.C. (Wright-On) and individual GUEST booking (name, address, phone and cell phone number to be provided and/or any additional Guest(s).)
Wright-On agrees to rent to GUEST, Sanford-Yake RV Campsite. The Rental Term shall be on a day-to-day basis, which may be terminated at any time by Wright-On. GUEST agrees to all the following terms and conditions:
PAYMENT: Guest Sanford-Yake RV Campsite rental hook-up payment is due on or before acquiring the RV Campsite for the amount of $24 per day plus tax, site cleaning and any other NPS charges that may apply.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE TIMES: Guest may Arrive after 3pm on their Arrival Date for their Sanford-Yake RV Campsite and MUST Vacate prior to 2pm on their scheduled Departure Date.
RULES: Guest agrees to comply with all Sanford-Yake RV Campground Park and National Park Service (NPS) rules and regulations. Any violation is subject for removal from the Sanford-Yake RV Campsite and Campground.
AUTHORIZED VEHICLES & OCCUPANTS: The only RV, vehicles and occupants allowed to stay at the Guest's Sanford-Yake RV Campsite are those listed in this agreement. Any changes must be authorized by Wright-On.
INSURANCE: Guest agrees to carry liability and comprehensive insurance and vehicle registration during the term of this Agreement. Guest shall furnish proof of insurance to Wright-On if requested.
UTILITIES: WATER:Water hookup is available at the RV Campsite. During winter months, Guest is responsible for keeping their water hose from the spicket to Guest trailer thawed. Wright-On Enterprises shall be responsible only for the water line up to the spicket. Electrical: An electrical receptacle is available at the site. Electricity is included in Sanford-Yake RV Campsite fee.
LENGTH OF STAY: NPS limits extended stays to NO longer than two weeks (14 consecutive days) and NO MORE than sixty (60) days in a calendar year.
Guest understands their RV must be in good condition, washed on a regular basis and well maintained.
Guest agrees to keep their RV Campsite neat and orderly at all times. Guest agrees to not cause any damage and/or repairs to any RV Campsite. RV Guest is responsible for any clean-up and/or damage caused by any of the RV Guests Visitors. If Guest RV Campsite is not left clean and/or anything damaged, Guest authorizes Wright-On to clean and/or repair damage to the RV Campsite at a fee to be paid by Guest in accordance to Damage/Cleaning Deposit.
Wright-On reserves the right at any time to require the removal of any item on the Guest Sanford-Yake RV Campsite and/or to remove anything erected on the Guest Sanford-Yake RV Campsite.
NO fish cleaning remains are to be left on Guest RV Campsite. NO fish cleaning remains are to be placed in any Sanford-Yake Campground dumpsters, trash bins and/or trash cans.
DAMAGE/CLEANING DEPOSIT: Guest authorizes Wright-On to use the Damage/Cleaning deposit repairing damage caused by me or to clean my site. Any remaining balance will be mailed to Guest within 5 days after my departure date ONLY if Guest leaves a stamped envelope with their mailing address. If Guest does not leave a stamped envelope with mailing address, Guest forfeits any remaining balance.
PERSONAL PROPERTY: Guest agrees to release all interests and claims to ownership and possession to all personal property remaining on the RV Campsite, or on Park’s Campgrounds, at 12:00 PM (noon) the day following termination of this Agreement. Guest agrees that any said left personal property shall become property of Wright-On immediately and, as such, Wright-On, at its discretion, shall have the right to dispose of any said personal property within twenty-four (24) hours.

LIABILITY: The use of these and/or any other facilities on NPS property is at the Guest’s own risk. Wright-On Guest are responsible for Guests visitors. Wright-On and/or NPS assumes no responsibility and/or liability for the safety and security of RV Campsite Guest’s property due to theft, vandalism, fire, any casualty, and/or act of God. Registered Guest and all other Guest of this property expressly assume all risk of such loss or damage and must carry their own insurance.
DISCLAIMER: Wright-On provides these services, including but not limited to RV Campsites, utilities and amenities on an as-is basis and makes no representations and/or warranties of any kind, either express and/or implied. By staying at or using facilities, Guest agrees to these terms and under NO circumstances will Wright-On and/or NPS be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, accidental and/or any other type of damages resulting from Guest use of any part of the NPS Park. This includes, but is not limited to, loss and/or injury caused in whole and/or in part by negligence and/or beyond our control.
INDEMNIFICATION: Sanford-Yake RV Campsite Guest and/or RV Campsite Guest visitors shall indemnify and hold harmless NPS, Wright-On Enterprises, L.L.C. and All employees from ALL claims, liability and expenses, including but not limited to attorney and other professional fees, for injury to persons, loss of life, and/or damage to property arising out of the Guest’s exercise of his/her rights hereunder.
